We are currently at a small guesthouse, north of the river at Baga in North Goa. We are meeting lots of interesting people, none of them under 50!
Our next door neighbours are Neil and Gill. Gill is a Carer and Neil works in management for the local bus company in Stoke.
They have saved up for 2 years to come to Goa and work with street kids 2 days a week. The El shaddai street kids rescue is a 2 hour bus journey away (check the new link in the side menu). They work with the kids for free and tutor and help them in different skills.
They have saved up for 2 years to come and do this, and foresake their own wages for 6 months.
It makes you think, doesnt it?

Neil and Gill sound like nice people. Very admirable and so unselfish to give your time and money to help people so far away.
