Indian building

Apologies for the lack of updates. We have been travelling around and are now at Palolem - which is gorgeous, and we are just chilling!

Here are some nice image of some indian building techniques.

Baked bricks come on the back of a truck. These are only rough shapes so the builders have to literally cut them to size. They use the lovely tool on the picture to trim them to size, and use a gauge, which is 2 nails in a piece of wood, to get the size right every time.

There is a lot of building in Goa now. It is being regarded more as a resort than a state, and lots of what we ahve seen in the North was english breakfasts and fat pink people. Shame really.
