For my 30th I bought myself a new digital SLR camera. I am now getting obsessed by taking half decent snaps - and am wasting lots of my (free) time trying to become (insert name of fashionable and popular photographer).
Stay tuned as the jack(son) of all trades adds another string to his bow!

A Perfect Block?
So, although we have not left, here is a an image of the type of thing you may come across on this site.
I have had a love affair with skateboarding for 17 years (on and off, some times seeing other people, and arguing often) , and it is something that has shaped my development as an individual on a number of levels.
Anyway, here is a home made obstacle by our friends over at the the monster network. A lovely example of a functional object for artistic exploration (manuals, slides, grinds etc) made from the discarded detritis of the everyday.
A humble pallet transcends its original purpose to become a platform for artistic expression (assisted by a bit of plywood and a shelving bracket). (photo by David Dixon).
