I have always like Anna Castelli Ferrieri's componobili units for Kartell. Designed over 30 years ago - the simplicity and modular nature of the storage units is one of those things that always seem to stay fresh. MOMA aren't wrong about many things (they are sometimes!) - and these are in the permanent collection there. Affordable and accessible - we got two 2-door units to use as bedside tables in our bedroom. Lovely.
