Borneo Headhunter

Sorry for the lack of updates. I am currently in Kuching, Sarawak - Malaysian Borneo. Today I had a new tattoo, as a symbol of many things, including a souvenir of this trip.

The indeginous Iban tribe of Borneo have a long history of tattooing, but their traditional ways are being lost to machine tattoos and symbolism from other countries. Ernesto Kalum is a young generation Iban who has a passion for his heritage and tattooing, and keeping the tradition and imagery of the Iban alive. He is also an internationally renowned tattoo artist.
