so - sapa in the north of vietnam was amazing - and I may post a picture - alternately look on the other travel blog - link on the left.
we decided to go to china -= and crossed the northern border. After a 10 hour bus journey - of which the highlights were men spitting and smoking a lot, which just happen to be my wifes two pet hates.
We are now in Bangkok, ready to leave for the islands - having done 3 countries in 3 days, and a chinese visa that says arrived on the 15th, left on the 16th.
Maybe I'll return on my own at some date for work!
